CMAST in Morehead City, NC

Several unique Centers help support EMC faculty research. EMC marine efforts are primarily based out of The Center for Marine Sciences and Technology (CMAST), which has a major research campus in Morehead City, NC. The Center for Comparative Medicine and Translational Research (CCMTR) based at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC provides state of the art equipment for investigation of many key aspects of disease diagnosis and investigation. The Southeast Climate Science Center (SECSC), located on the NCSU Main Campus provides important climate data technology supporting EMC research efforts.  Other valuable centers supporting EMC efforts include the Bioinformatics Research Center (BRC), the Center for Chemical Toxicology Research and Pharmacokinetics (CCTRP), the Center for Geospatial Analytics (CGA), and the Keck Center for Behavioral Biology (CBB).  Multi-university institutes and centers that support EMC efforts include NC Sea Grant (NCSG), the Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI), and the Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites (CICS-NC).
