Crissey Memorial Fund

The Crissey Memorial Fund honors the memory of Susan D. Crissey, Ph.D., December 12, 1951 – November 23, 2002, a respected faculty member of the EMC who made lasting contributions tot he field of zoological nutrition in her career, which was cut short by cancer.

The fund supports the Crissey Zoological Medicine Symposium, which brings together the top comparative nutritionists, zoolocial clinicians and students in the country in an informal setting of information exchange to help advance the science and art of providing proper nutrition for captive and free-ranging wildlife. The fund supports all aspects of zoological nutrition efforts by the EMC

To make a tax deductible donation to the Crissey Memorial Fund, checks should be made payable to the NCVMF with “Crissey Memorial Fund” entered in the memo line. Send your donations to the College of Veterinary Medicine, 4700 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, NC 27606 or call 919.513.6660 to speak with a foundation officer about other forms of giving to the fund.
